WOW! Hallelujah Night was a lot of fun. I hope the kids had fun too. Everyone did such an awesome job preparing the rooms--they all looked so great. I'm sad that I didn't have a camera to take mad pictures. T-T I guess I will need to depend on the doubles of kind strangers.. I wish I could get my thoughts out, so I could just go to sleep, but I'm so tired. I think I'll just go for a jog and clear my head...

I saw La Boheme tonight. It was really good!! It was my first musical so everything was.. WOW to me. I think I was more fascinated by the mechanics of everything rather than the story line. The sets were so amazing! And the snow, and the fire.. I was so happy! The performers were great--they all sang so well, but I'm not really into the opera'y singing. Plus it was in Italian and the small printed translations were hurtin my eyes. And reading the subtitles meant you'd miss the action, and well, it was a trade-off the entire night. My favorite set was Act II, and my favorite scene was Act III. xD I HAD SO MUCH FUN! It was great! I am definitely dragging my poor unfortunate husband (if God says that I must have one) to musicals all the time. I LOVED IT!

By far, though, the most fun thing I saw tonight was the group of homeless singers right outside the theatre. They were so coooooL~ It was upbeat and acapella.. and really entertaining. And they were smiling and clappin, and just looked like they were havin a blast. I love street performers. There were a lot of random boy/girl bands in Japan just performing on the streets. I miss that.

Ok, have another 8'oclock. BLAH. And tomorrow's Hallelujah Night! I'm excited/nervous. But I'm sure it will be ok. xD

I was preparing my Sunday School lesson, and I particularly liked this passage because it is something that I am still struggling to do.. It's a nice reminder:

Q: What is God?
A: God is a spirit, and has not a body like men.
You said that you were made in His image. What does that mean? You have hands and feet, and the Bible says that no many can pluck God's children from His hands. That sounds like God has a hand. Do we look like God? The Bible says in John 4:24, "God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." God is not bound by a physical body. He took on a physical body so that He could accomplish the job of redeeming us, but He is not bound by physical limitations and a body. When He made us in His image He gave us souls that could never die. In the Pauline letters, there is a verse that says when you become one of God's children you must think no more of people as personalities or individuals, but as souls. I cannot say that I can't like a person because of the way she wears her hair, or because I disapprove of the way he spends his time, or that with another there is just a clash of personality. If you look at people as souls, then there are only two kinds of people. What are they? The saved and the lost. If you see someone and see only a lost soul, you try to point them to Christ. If he or she is a saved soul, then you enjoy Christian fellowship with them, regardless of the kind of clothes they wear, or the correctness of their spirituality. If you are the stronger, you can help them. You look at everyone as souls. This is the way God made us in His image. But He is a spirit.
How to teach the Catechism to Children

It's hard to not judge...even though I know that I have absolutely no right to, I do find myself judging as well as being judged by other people. And my excuse is that since everyone judges me, I can judge them too.

I need to stop being a lemming, or I'm going to find myself jumping off that bridge, like everyone else....

I thought that I was having the worst day when I woke up late for my midterm this morning. I was wrong because the day just got worse.

Today wasn't all bad though. I got to eat with Lila, Hyewon, Sylvia, and Jae. It was a lot of fun. Lots of secrets--muahahahaha~ and I also went to Interpraise.. (half-dragged by Lila), but I'm really glad I went. The praising was awesome, the speaker was great... It was great.

It is 3 in the morning. Why am I blogging? I do have a lot in my mind.. but so jumbled.. can't really make sense of them right now.

I'm done with midterms for the semester! WOO HOO! Things left: paper, LSATs, finals.. piece of cake..

Now if only the rest of my life were this easy.....

I have a person that dreams about me constantly!

So for about a week now, Jae has been having these dreams about me. HAR HAR~ SO funny! I keep asking her why she dreams about me, and she can't figure it out either. Most of the times, I'm causing some kind of trouble in her dream, and she's trying to save me. -___-;; I guess after 3 years of dealing with me and my drama, she thinks that I always cause trouble for her. How sad... -___-;; But I thought I'd brag that someone is dreaming of me constantly. YAY! har har~!!

Everything that is a blessing in my life is the direct result of God's work in my life. I really want everything to be that daughter that He has commanded me to be--dependent on Him only and reaching for Him only. I know how much it hurts when you give someone everything that you are able to give, and they don't think it's enough. So why do I do that to God? Why do I constantly tell Him that His everything isn't enough for me? I hurt Him everyday the way that people have hurt me those few times in my life. Maybe God is trying to show me, through my pain, how much my rejection hurts Him...

GC is here visiting... YAY~! hehe, I'm so happy to see him. We haven't done anything really big, but we did get to just chill. We watched 'The Transporter' yesterday.. Basically, Macchu Picchu was supposed to be their protector, so he thought that if I had a piece of it, it would be kinda like a protective thing. hehe~ How sweet, huH? I have the bestest friends in the world...
