I saw La Boheme tonight. It was really good!! It was my first musical so everything was.. WOW to me. I think I was more fascinated by the mechanics of everything rather than the story line. The sets were so amazing! And the snow, and the fire.. I was so happy! The performers were great--they all sang so well, but I'm not really into the opera'y singing. Plus it was in Italian and the small printed translations were hurtin my eyes. And reading the subtitles meant you'd miss the action, and well, it was a trade-off the entire night. My favorite set was Act II, and my favorite scene was Act III. xD I HAD SO MUCH FUN! It was great! I am definitely dragging my poor unfortunate husband (if God says that I must have one) to musicals all the time. I LOVED IT!

By far, though, the most fun thing I saw tonight was the group of homeless singers right outside the theatre. They were so coooooL~ It was upbeat and acapella.. and really entertaining. And they were smiling and clappin, and just looked like they were havin a blast. I love street performers. There were a lot of random boy/girl bands in Japan just performing on the streets. I miss that.

Ok, have another 8'oclock. BLAH. And tomorrow's Hallelujah Night! I'm excited/nervous. But I'm sure it will be ok. xD
