so i need your advice peoples. (since i know you have nothing better to do if you are reading my blog)

i am planning to buy a laptop (to practice taking exams/notes on a laptop for the bar), but i donno what to buy.

right now, there's a great deal going on at amazon for an apple powerbook. it's the 12.1", so pretty light. 60 gigs, dvd-rom/cd writer, umm, and a whole buncha stuff that i don't understand. it's $1499.99, no taxes, no shipping and $150 mail in rebate. so.. the total would be $1349.99.

so.. i don't normally use apples, but i've used them before, and didn't really have that many problems. just had to get used to it. and i know a couple of people in my law school with that laptop who LOVE it.

should i get it? i only have until aug. 16 to decide..

or does anyone else know of a better deal? (mind you, i want a pretty light laptop. i don't need to be adding to my back problems i will surely get after law school. also... i would like it to be pretty. xD keke~)

wow.

that concert was AWESOME. i must say i was a bit disappointed with third day (altho jaekyung pointed out that didn't stop me from squealing with delight). they repeated some songs they did at harvest, and they didn't sing the songs i really like from them. but they are still awesome performers, and mac powell's sultry southern voice didn't hurt either.

but my props really go to chris tomlin that night. wow. he is an AMAZING performer. and the thing is, the reason i liked him so much was because it didn't seem like he was performing. it felt like praise at church. i never realized, but all the songs i really like during praise are his. and he also sang another song i've never heard, but reeeeaaaalllly liked. i love chris tomlin. and he's single, *rawr*

and mercy me. wow. that guy's voice is freaking awesome. and their lyrics are also just as awesome. their new song, homesick is really good.. this blurb doesn't really do them justice because they were really awesome, but yea..

there are so many talented people out there. it was seriously such a blessing last night.

so.. remember last october i said i signed up for LA Fitness? well, that was just a waste of a lot of money cuz i never had time (or desire) to go. anyway, so i cancelled in may of this year. so imagine my surprise when i got charged in june. i called LA fitness and they told me my account was still active!! to make things worse, there was NO way to speak to anyone from the corporate office, which handles the cancellations, etc. all i could do was send in another cancellation form. I WAS SO ANGRY! so i called american express (cuz it's like auto pay type thing) and told them i no longer authorize payments to LA fitness. they told me they can't do that but they can open up an investigation. they asked me to write a letter explaining what happened. so i wrote my letter and i didn't hear anything from them. amex told me they would freeze the amount but it was still on my bill. i was going to call them today to follow up on it.

so today, i was SO happy to find that charge is gone! it's GONE~~ gone gone gone~~~~

that means, as of today, i have paid off 3 of my 4 credit cards people!! x) given, i still have about 2600 on the other one to pay, but still. that's 3 other bills i won't have to worry about!! i'm so happy!

it's been a good day so far~

The undisputed leader of the little foursome was the girl...She ruled them as a little queen, playing one against the other and inciting them into fights. She was quite heartles, and each of the three boys at times hated her even while remaining helpless thralls to her tiniest whim.

i actually can't wait to go jogging today. after sitting in the car for 11 hours or so this weekend, i crave being active. (scary, i know)

i liked fantastic four. human torch was cute. seriously though, jessica alba can't act for poop. sigh, what message does that send to kids? it's ok if you're talentless, you just need to be pretty and/or have oogles of money. xP (ie: paris hilton) sigh..

today actually went by pretty quickly. x)

time to start getting ready for school. (yes, it's a month away. leave me alone.)

on another note, 2 more weddings to go to. nothing like a wedding to make you feel older. but it's ok, i've been waiting for these 2 weddings for a long time now. *congrats*

one of those mornings...

today has just been one of those mornings. for the first time since the first week i started work, i left my house around 7 a.m. i was really excited because that meant i could leave early. normally, it takes me around 40 mins to get to work. today, it took me an hour and a half. -__-;; there was an accident right off my exit (of course) and i don't know alternate routes people! i only know that one way and that's it. somehow i had to make it to my school to catch the shuttle to take me to 7th and fig, from where i walk to work. after a few u-turns, i finally made it to school...to see the shuttle leave without me. xP so i had to wait around another 15 mins before i got to get on the shuttle. *sigh*

last night i was really annoyed. i woke up with 3 pimples this morning. fun. maybe i should calm down a little.

seriously tho, i was really, what's the word, shocked? befuddled? by the number of stupid people last night. the reason we see the news announcements about the dangers of fireworks and shooting guns up into the air every year is because every year some stupid idiot (or in huntington beach's case, EVERYONE) is doing these dangerous things for their own enjoyment. really, what happened to common courtesy to those around you. everyone is out for themselves. it made me really annoyed, but instead, i guess it should have made me sad. what a sad world we live in when people can't curb their own instant gratification for the well-being of everyone.
