When we go through trials and troubles we can always rely on God and know that He will be with us and will help us through. Clouds and rain can help make your roots strong and give you stability if you let God work through them. David in Psalms 124:1 - 8 expressed the same idea. So let us rejoice in our clouds and rain and know that God is still in control even when we can't see Him. (Living with Muscular Dystrophy)

One thing we may be sure of, however: For the believer all pain has meaning; all adversity is profitable. There is no question that adversity is difficult. It usually takes us by surprise and seems to strike where we are most vulnerable. To us it often appears completely senseless and irrational, but to God none of it is either senseless or irrational. He has a purpose in every pain He brings or allows in our lives. We can be sure that in some way He intends it for our profit and His glory.

on another note..
we semi-adopted shiro. me and kev went back to visit them around 2am the day after we met him.. we found that he had a family of his very own! he had 2 kittens and a very upset wife. we went for the next 2 nights, just to feed them and stuff. we named them: shiro, booger, plain jane, and mommy bitchiest (she was a feisty one; we never saw her after that second night). i went again a couple of nights ago, and there was only one kitten left! i was really sad. i waited around for shiro and he never came. i hope nothing bad happened to him. i'm going to visit him again today.
lately i've been so exhausted. mostly emotionally and mentally, but the fatigue has been so great that it has manifested itself in my body too.
Lord let my prayer be only this: give me the strength to be obedient in the little (and big) things, and in doing so, help me to know you just a little better each day.

I can tell you're emo lately--you just saw me two days ago and you miss me??
haha. the kid i was talking about was Nathan. But, sadly, I think after harping on Dennis, I'm over it/him. =T That's the thing about goodlooking ppl with me, if i'm around them or see them too much, they lose their appeal... =(
it took me forever to figure out that "emo" didn't mean "aunt" but "emotional" HAHAHA
i was so confused~
nathan, really? i donno.. i don't think he's that cute, hahaha (i'm mean, i know..) and i still think dennis o'neil is pretty, but i can't stand the way he talks--both korean and english! xP
i think Dennis sorta talks like a typical SD surfer dude. and it's not that I think Nathan's that cute, it's their facial impression. I dunno why... maybe it's because they both look hispanic at certain angles. haha.
how funny, when i was listening to him talk about daniel henney i was thinking he was perhaps a surfer at one point in his life. (probable, no, b/c isn't he from florida?)
yea... i don't like it. haha~
